However, most of our users find that as the botanical extracts rebalance their scalp oils, they can naturally transition to washing every 3–4 days. It is a "Scalp Training" formula – the more the botanicals nourish your skin barrier, the less oil your scalp needs to overproduce.
Because this is a professional-grade, sulphate-free formula, the lathering experience is different from a supermarket brand. It won't give you a "mountain of bubbles" on the first wash, but it creates a beautiful, creamy foam during the second.
Why the lather is different:
The First Wash (The Detox): The botanical cleansers are busy attaching to surface oils, dirt, and environmental pollutants. The shampoo is working hard to detoxify, even without big bubbles.
The Second Wash (The Infusion): Once surface debris is rinsed away, the second wash produces a much richer, dense lather. This allows our 66%+ Concentrated Botanicals to deliver nutrients directly into your follicles.

To achieve a "tear-free" result, conventional brands use synthetic numbing agents and raise the pH to a neutral 7.0 (the pH of an eye).
